I emailed CTM and asked if they were planning on offering the US modern marker lights (the new oval ones) in red.

They said it would be fairly simple to do so and would if people were interested. I'm up for having them in red as well as amber. Anyone else?

Guys, we have just discussed that. What would be the use of the orange ones? Trailers or...? We just haven't found them on anything...

The amber ovals are primarily for turn signals on trailers. But for custom show truck builders like me, I'd put them everywhere a regular round would go, both colors. I put 10 to 12 lights on the light bars I make. Which they mount resin full fenders in front and back. I put the same amount of lights on the front and back. But I'm 1 builder, not a group.

True, amber or orange ones are more common in real life, but you'll find red millenium lights on the rear of show trucks, as Clayton said. Common for subjects we model.

Also on moving/logistics and racing trailers, expediters, wreckers, recreational vehicles, buses and light duty pickup trucks.

Here's one with the newer style US marker lights. Not a common example, I'm sure other people have show truck rear light bar pics, which are far more popular examples.
