charlie8575 Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 Has anyone ever printed white decals on white decal paper? If so, what do you do with the computer to make it print? The only thing I can think of is to print a black background around the white lettering, or possibly do a black-outlined white letter? Thoughts? Charlie Larkin
Tesla Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 I use Microsoft Publisher most of the time for decals. I create a text box, fill it with black, then select white for your font color. I'm sure there are many ways to accomplish this, hopefully others will share their methods.
Tesla Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 Check this link: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=97018 Post #5 refers to a new type of decal paper.
charlie8575 Posted February 14, 2015 Author Posted February 14, 2015 Thanks, Dennis. That stuff might be just the ticket. I actually need white letters only, and was thinking about alternatives. That might prove to do the job. This will be for a MSP '57 Ford cruiser, and the completely correct decals don't seem to be available anywhere, so.... Charlie Larkin
