I decided start collecting some 1/43 cars and limit my 1:18 to just a few examples.

Mercedes Benz 2.3-16v w201.

I`m sure there is more to come. Thanks for looking.

It's amazing what's available in "off scale" diecasts compared to plastic kits! The Volvo sparked this .. I had a 145 and have wanted a 1/25 kit forever to replicate it. The number a different 1/43 models available has simply amazed me!

Maybe it's time to just do what I'm looking for in whatever scale is there.

If you can get your hands on one of those older Volvo promos,i belive they are 1:20 scale.

Then have some wizard scan it and print out body in 1:24/1:25,i`m sure it`s not impossible.

I agree, the sortiment in 1/43 is amazing. If my wallet would allowed i`d be so over NEO models.

I believe you will find 1/43 to not really be an "off scale", in fact it seems to me to be the premium scale for hard core exotic car diecasts. I think 1/18, for example might be more popular in America, but not world wide. as pointed out, there sure are a lot more subjects available than in 1/24, and to me much more interesting ones. and there are some incredibly detailed factory built examples too, but they cost big big money.
