Except, no one knew he needed help until this rant thread. People on this forum are very hesitant about giving feedback. It's a subject we've been over and over. So my advice at this point, to the OP, is when you would like some feedback, ask for it by changing the title of your thread to something like this.

Bill has helped me out many times with his engineering knowledge. But I asked for it in a way that made people know I needed help.

To change the thread title, click EDIT and then in the edit window click USE FULL EDITOR.
