Modelcarjedi Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 Lots to do with this big ole willys! I'm using parts from the lindberg exterminator kit and the big red rod kit to build this. The body is a robert hayes casting. ok onto the pics i cut the front end off to make a tilt front end i made a firewall for it started a frame thought making a tilt front end was a bad idea, so i removed the hood and glues the fenders back on mocking up the motor this is a blast!!! keith ross
OneTrickPony Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 I like it! I have always liked the old Willys, I have a '33 in diecast that has some really nice detail.

JAFFA Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 o.O kinda makes ya wanna do a 1/8 scale build!
Modelcarjedi Posted February 13, 2008 Author Posted February 13, 2008 too kool! how much does that body weigh? it's not too heavy,it's cast with light weight resin keith
jbwelda Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 >it's not too heavy,it's cast with light weight resin thats good, its going to save you a lot of grief. i picked up a 1/8 willys body one time and i swear it weighted 10 pounds. have to do plenty of chassis reinforcement to support that!
Modelcarjedi Posted February 17, 2008 Author Posted February 17, 2008 Here where i'm at with the body right now.
