Casey429 Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 This is one of the few builds of mine that has a deeper meaning to it. Mom's first car was a car just like this one. When AMT reissued "The Cat", I told her about it and showed her a picture. She responded with "Thats the car!" So upon discovering the right color paint at Lowe's of all places, I got down to building. Its all OOB, but I added the exhaust tips as my own little touch. Now, it was a long time ago so certain liberties had to be taken, such as the engine and wheels, but the overall look is there. I still need to find a picture of it somewhere, maybe one that shows the rear so I can make a correct plate for it.
Casey429 Posted July 24, 2006 Author Posted July 24, 2006 It's American Traditions by Valspar. The color name is Woodland Olive, and was applied straight from the spraycan.
