highway Posted April 2, 2011 Share Posted April 2, 2011 Revell has a 1939 Chevy Coupe hot rod, I don't know if it would work for you or not. Here's a pic of it from Revell's website. If I remember correctly, it has a 427 Big Block Chevy engine and no stock engine or wheels, but it might be a start if the 40 is similar. Unless there has been a '40 Chevy done in 1/43 scale or smaller, no. 1940 saw a one-year-only body series for Chevrolet--nothing above the chassis was carried over from 1939, and the '40 shares nothing bodywise with the '41 or later cars, although 1940's styling did predict that of 1941.
