foosh
Looking for a Bill Drennen 358 hood conversion. I know P&P resin had them at one time but I am not able to contact Eric or Kelly. Hope they are okay. Does anyone know a point of contact for Bill Drennen?
Petetrucker07
P&P no longer does bills casting. You have to contact him directly. drennen.bill@yahoo.com
foosh
Hey Clayton, Thanks for the address, I'll give him a shout. Your 359 looks good.
Jim B
I have the 358 hood from P&P (no, it's not for sale), and I don't think it was a Bill Drennen kit.
Petetrucker07
No problem man, and thank you. I have emailed back and forth with bill, i have no knowledge of anything he has beyond a 1/25 complete 379 conv, a complete w900 conv, and a 1/24 378 to 379 conv that he does not have right now, he said he might have it by Xmas time. Thatswhatshesaid
The 358 was originally cast by CFC. If I remember right it was a joint effort between Bill and Clint. I think Bill has a T800 conversion as well. He used to offer the high top sleeper in 1/25 scale as well.
foosh
Hey thanks guys for the info. Tim (Tims Trucks) built a sharp looking 358 wrecker and I thought he said the hood conversion was a Bill Drennen casting, but could be a Clint Freeman. I'm working on a couple of reissue "little windows" and have a 351 conversion from AITM for a short WB city tractor and wanted a 358 hood for the extended WB road tractor. kwt950
The 358 conversion kit is my kit. I mastered it back in the mid 90s. Clint Freeman and I entered into a partnership and I gave him the rights to cast my masters until he and I decided to shutdown because of so many thieves copying our work. I then brought it back with Eric until his health gave out and other issues develop. Bill Drennen
