  1. Not everyone can cast parts, that is true. I never said that they could. But anyone can build a master. If you want something, make it. I just happened to notice a lot of 'wait for someone else to do it' posts.
  2. Hmmm. I'm no airline expert but it seems that knowing which planes at which gates are going to which destinations should be pretty high up on the checklist.
  3. I read a lot of comments on here about 'someone needs to cast such and such part', someone needs to build this so it can be cast in resin', 'I need such and such, someone build it to be cast', 'we need this in resin' 'if it was available I'd by 10' and so on. So be that someone. Instead of waiting for something to fall in your lap or waiting for someone else to do it, be that 'someone' that everybody is waiting for.
  4. Can we get some clarification on the words? I can't even comprehend what that is supposed to say.
  5. Here is a couple ideas for the 'black marshmallows'. For the ''marshmallows': If you are really set on having them squish a little bit you could try foam but I think you would have better luck with shaping the air bags out of something like balsa or basswood. No squishy effect but an easier medium to work with. Now for the 'black'. Get some rubberized undercoating from the auto parts store. Comes in a spray can. Dries soft and rubbery. Boom. Air bags.
  6. The most exciting part of last weekends race happened AFTER the race was over.
  7. But think about the time it takes to make the changes. They could have been up to date at the time they did the kits but once they hit the market they weren't up to date. Trying to keep an accurate kit on the shelves seems like you would always be chasing your tail.
  8. I didn't know Mel Gibson had an eBay page.
  9. So far I have posted three that no one got so I'll throw out an easy one. Well I'm gonna paint my picture Paint myself in blue, red, black and gray All of the beautiful colors are very, very meaningful Yeah, well you know, gray is my favorite color I felt so symbolic yesterday If I knew Picasso I would buy myself a gray guitar and play
  10. Plenty of slot cars left in Bowling Green. A few Dodge Dakotas, Dodge Charger, 62 impala and the 25 Ford I think?
  11. Does anyone know what they have at the Radcliff or Bowling Green, KY locations?
  12. Thanks for pointing that out. I wasn't aware that mistakes couldn't be made.
  13. Not a lyric but some trivia. Can anyone name the artist that sang one of the versions of the theme song to Who's The Boss?
  14. Major flaws are in excusable, I agree there. But it's the micro nit picking that gets annoying. No model is perfect but is it really necessary to gripe about kits that are .00001 % not perfect? How about the people that gripe and won't buy a kit because it doesn't have the options they want? Or when they do add extra parts people complain that it costs too much. This board has just come down to so much not picking and 'it should all be about us car guys'. This board is not fun most of the time because it's just whining and crying. If people are so unhappy with the kits being produced and think it's so easy to just put out flawless kits of subjects that five people will buy. Then do it. Start a model company. Get a bunch of investors, and start pumping out all these 'if it was kitted it would fly off the shelf' models everyone supposedly wants. Then kit everything else that people request. Then sell them cheaper than your competition because current prices are too high. Bet you can't do it and make a profit.
  15. A guy goes to the store to buy condoms. 'Do you want a bag?', the cashier asks 'No', the guy says, 'she's not that ugly'
  16. Two hunters were dragging their dead deer back to their truck. Another hunter approached pulling his along too. "Hey, I don't want to tell you how to do something... but I can tell you that it's much easier if you drag the deer in the other direction. Then the antlers won't dig into the ground... After the third hunter left, the two decided to try it. A little while later one hunter said to the other, "You know, that guy was right. This is a lot easier!" "Yeah, but we're getting farther from the truck," the other added. Why did Tigger look in the toilet? He was looking for Pooh.
