  1. If Coldplay plays the Super Bowl I'll vomit. They suck
  2. You shouldn't get a tip for doing your JOB.
  3. Suck it up princess. He probably didn't want to break a nail.
  4. It sounds like you are forcing yourself to build kits you don't really want to build. If you want to get them out of the way then it sounds more like a chore than a hobby. Just my opinion.
  5. I never understood the people who feel the need to share their life story with the cashier.
  6. Ha! It's a trick question. We don't know what time train B left.
  7. If you really want to confuse them give them a penny. For example if your total is $4.86, give them $5.01. Utter confusion. It's quite annoying to tell a cashier how to do their job.
  8. For the windows try the plastic pieces that come in the collars of some dress shirts.
  9. Not to hijack the thread but a quick note on washes. AK Interactive and MIG both offer a wide variety of washes, pigments and 'streaking' washes. They are made for military models but work great for trucks. Back to the topic at hand. Been following this build on two forums. Incredible work.
  10. That is a definite improvement on the Freightliner. That brown and yellow gives off a 70s appliances vibe.
  11. I don't think pj toys offers anything in the $3 range.
  12. It's not being a know it all. It's called READING the thread and not making comments that are irrelevant.
  13. Watch the LLWS to see where the Tommy John epidemic in MLB starts. 12 year olds throwing breaking pitches is bad.
  14. Any Kardashian will do.
  15. Smashing Pumpkins. Billy Corgan is the only original member left.
  16. P&P had the double bunk 362. A 379 kit would be unlikely I think because they no longer make it. A 389 would be current. Same with the 387, it's been replaced by the 587.
  17. Steve Urkel drove one.
  18. Hard core adult modelers aren't the only target market for model companies. How many times has the 'how do we get kids involved in the hobby' topic come up? Yet when a new snap kit is released it is dismissed as 'rubbish'. Ignoring the younger market would be a big mistake. It's like a grocery store carrying milk but not bread. You'd be missing a lot of business.
  19. But not everything is going to increase at exactly the same pace.
  20. Apparently chuckyr and I are the only ones who actually read the thread and understand the process.
  21. OIL. Why do models and gasoline seem to have gone up at the same rate? OIL. What does it take to make gas and plastic? OIL. What is very expensive these days? OIL. Everyone seems to overlook this tidbit.
  22. I've been following this thread for a while now. I have to say I don't think this is modeling, this is insanity. Absolutely mind blowing model and talent.
