  1. Its for breakfast now!!
  2. Turnpike doubles are 45-48 foot trailers and a RM double is a 45-48 footer with a 26-28 pup. On the west coast Oregon and Idaho run triples, 3 26-28 foot trailers. The LTL companies and UPS/ Fed Ex run them a lot. There are other states that allow them and some states only allow them on certain highways. I'm pretty sure double 53s aren't allowed in the US. I've only seen them in Canada.
  3. Walmart worked with Paccar to build that spaceship. The trailer looks alright in that color scheme but that tractor is awful.
  4. Congrats JT. Well earned awards you got there.
  5. Its amazing how one little thing can save so much money though. Bottom line is that everything comes down to money. Its sneaky the way that it is done but it is part of buisness. American Airlines once saved $40,000 in a year by eliminating one olive from their in flight salads.
  6. There was a recent study done on kids cereal box 'mascots'. It found that the eyes of these 'mascots' are positioned at a certain angle to make better eye contact with kids as they go down the aisle.
  7. That is how the Starbucks are here. You can stand in front of one and see two others.
  8. Somewhere along that timeframe (I want to say late 90's/early 2000s) they went to the curved cowl/windshield. GW trucks offered a W900B. Its a nice piece.
  9. The Canepa is just a T600 with some aero bling.
  10. T600. The T660 is a newer truck and has never been kitted and the T800 is only available in resin.
  11. Knight and Swift run a lot of 670s still. Central Refrigerated used to run a lot of them too. It's definitely a fleet type truck.
  12. More people better get over there and vote. A lot of stuff people have been asking for. Make your voices heard. I voted for the Kia. Talk about a dream kit!!
  13. Is this to see what kits may be issued?
  14. Hashtag for formal things and # for short!!
  15. The W925 was announced as a reissue in 2003 but was cancelled.
  16. Those are the 670 in the Bison pics.
  17. I was reading online just the other day that a woman named her daughter Hashtag.
  18. The kits were released around 2005. The trucks hit the road in 03-04.
  19. Yes!! Everyone seems to forget this little tidbit when griping about kit prices. Gas is 3 to 4 times as expensive as it was 10-15 years ago. It takes oil to make plastic. Therefore it is no surprise kits are 3 to 4 times as expensive. Also its not the 60s/70s anymore. People post/act like models are the only thing that has gone up in price.
  20. The color coded plastic ones are more vulnerable to the cold. I'm guessing black rubber lines are more the norm in cold climates.
  21. People who use excessive exclamation points on their posts!!!!!!! Its really annoying to read!!!!! It comes across as screaming when you post like this!!!!
  22. I'm lucky to live near the Evergreen building. They sell the big sheets a lot cheaper than the LHS.
  23. The shop recently put black rubber lines on the truck I drive for the cold temps going up to Alaska.
  24. Can we put the 'rising costs of kits' issue to bed already and just enjoy the hobby?
