the amt and the revell kits have aN ENGINE in them i have the revell an it got a sweet 6.1 hemi in it...the wheels u proly get from pegasus wheels.. the procharger well idk on that part....

hope this helps bro

Davin, only the Revell kit has an engine in it. The AMT kits, both the SRT8 and the R/T, are curbside kits with no engine.

Davin, I was not trying to be sacastic, was not trying to pick apart your post, or have a smart a-- attitude, the only reason I used the capital letters in that post was to emphasize the fact that the Revell kit has an engine and the AMT kits do not. I'm sorry you took it the wrong way, and the post has been editted without the caps.

By the way, I'm usually one of the first here that tries to offer help whenever I possibly can.

Just...

wow.

Mike, as luck would have it, I shot the one you want a while back (the Revell kit as mentioned above):

As for something close to current Torq-Thrust specs, you can find 18s in either Revell's '06 Hertz Shelby, or their '08 Bullitt Mustang. I'm pretty sure Revell offers bigger rims close to that style as custom wheels in some kit or another, but I'm not positive where to steer you there.

ATI Procharger is a centrifugal blower, driven by a belt, hanging off an accessory bracket, right? Only one of those I can think of is in Revell's '98 Saleen Mustang convertible kit - think it's nominally a Vortech, though you might be able to fudge it to look like a Procharger.

Besides not writing a book, (I'm guessing that's what you mean by "wrighing"), perhaps reading a few books might help you to better grasp such concepts as decent grammar, syntax, composition, use of capitalization & punctuation, & even sharpen your comprehension skills. :D

:D

Suggestions like this might be better sent via PM. :D

It might not make a darn bit of difference to the recipient... but doing it in public can only lead to more of the same types of posts here.

Matthew's always been one of the first to try & help others here ever since joining.

Thank you, Mark. I think, since this subject is posted in the "New Kit Reviews" section, I will prepare a post in a little while of all three kits, complete with pictures. I have to take on my alter ego, Russian Taxi Driver Piccup Andropov, to take my better half to work very shortly, but will begin with the kit reviews after I get back. B)

Cliff Notes Version if I read correctly is AMT is curbside, and Revell has the engine?

That's right! ;)B)

I guess I'll just give the Cliff Notes version of the kits reviews, too.:lol:

Here's what you can expect to find in the Revell kit, which I have obviously started. That's why there are gaps on the sprues! :D

The only dislike I really have with the kit so far is the solid metal axle for the rear, but at least Revell did hide it well.

This is what to expect from the AMT kits, first with the SRT8.

The R/T version is virtually the same as the SRT8, with the exception of the front spoiler that was corrected for the R/T and the R/T wheels. The R/T is on the left and the SRT8 parts are on the right.

The decals are the only other difference between the two, and include the pattern for the R/T seats.
