tyrone
Alright fellas... I got the rear end axles modified to fit the rear wheels on tonight... I had to first narrow the axles, and once I did there is an injection hole right down the center of it... I took my pin vise and opened the hole up and drilled it down about 1/4 of and inch.. to fit my.035 rod down inside it... then I took my .035 rod and inserted them and glued them in place.. then I slid the tubes over my rod and glued in place.. they are almost the perfect diameter of the inside of the wheels... Bookie86
Beautiful work, Tyrone - as always... x2 Tyrone how much do you spend in wheels and parts and what size rod do you use for the wheelie bars I gotta make a set for my 70.5 was thinking the 0.
Force
x2 Tyrone how much do you spend in wheels and parts... Don't ask...you don't want to know. Lets say it like this...these machined aluminum, photo etched and resin parts are not cheap...but if you want to build a model at this level you might have to spend the money to get it as you want it. By the way, I like what I see Tyrone. Edited August 17, 2014 by Force

Mooneyzs
Tyrone.... This is coming along beautiful. That is cool that one day you may do a bigger scale build. I hope you know that I like teasing you about doing a 1/16th scale build. I see your talent here and how I love your builds. I can only imagine the detail you would put into a bigger one cause you kill these 1/25th scale builds.
tyrone
Thanks for the comments fellas.. I really appreciate... Ernest I use .062 rod to make my wheelie bars,.. as far as cost... the wheels will run you about 45/50 bucks for a set and the aftermaket stuff can get to be expensive like Hakan was saying... but if you want that extra detail its the way to go... there are'nt but so many combinations of wheels out there and the wheels Jim makes are top shelf.... I got the brake lines all plumbed up today... I'll paint the fittings later... I removed the brake lines and cables that were molded on the chassis so I could add my own..
