Mercman
I too was in the same contest mentioned by Tim. I built a 32 ford coupe that pre-dates the Rat Rod craze of today.Basically OLD SKOOL HOT ROD style. The contest was about Rat Rod builds, with just a few rules as to how they could look. Lots of stiff competition from the other entrants. So here are a few pics of mine. "What do you mean it's done? It don't look done to me." All of the pics can be seen here. Finished, and in progress pics. http://s8.photobucket.com/albums/a2/mercman51/My%20Models/Contest%20Build/

Mercman
Nice '32 rod. It looks period correct, and the engine detail is great. Thanks that's the effect I wanted to achieve. Getting it ready for the car show circut, pre final paint. Very Kool build Merc! Can't wait to see what you do with it next. Thanks Tim. Your Corvette is one I would own if they did a full size one. You did a great job on it. I hope to send the 32 down for the Bama show, if I can get someone to take it. It could be displayed with the others.
