Chuck Most
In my area quite a few (more) wind turbines are going up, so the constructio rigs are out in full force. I have no idea what kind of body is on this truck or what its use would be- feel free to clue me in on that. I'm guessing it is a water truck. hotrod59f100
I don't know anything about it but it's definitely cool.
signguy2108
I don't follow the Mack construction trucks, but looks like a DMM with a lime bed.
Wagoneer81
I believe you are correct, Larry! I think this is a lime spreader. When building up a road base, the ground has to be a certain 'hardness' to keep the road from settling. One of the ways to harden the sub roadbed is to mix powdered lime into the clay hardpan. This truck would spread the powdered lime and then a sheepsfoot roller would come in behind to mix and compress the soil.
