My neighbor gave me a couple of kits. One of which he started the salt technique on. I loved the color he chose, and decided to finish up what he started. I lowered it and added some rust over the weekend to get started. I'm going to put an LS9 in it to modernize it some.

This was my second attempt at weathering a couple of years ago. I originally built it as more of a 2wd hot rod, but was never really happy with it. I put it on the Fall guy frame with some ground hawg tires and instantly liked it better. These photos were taken when it was almost done.

Thank you! It's oil paint thinned down with mineral spirits. You can apply it many different thicknesses to simulate different types of mud and dirt.
