IceMan Collections
Finally building a hearse. It's going to be my October entry over at our club. figured it was creepy enough. It's a resin copy of the Johan Hearse. Here are some pics of what I started with and where I'm at so far. opened the hood, added tabs and painted it flat black to start. IceMan Collections
Gloss black and engine work. Its the engine from the 59 Caddy kit Unfortunately the rear of the body was in rough shape so I ended up gluing the rear door shut. I really wanted the casket sticking out. So to make up for it, I will be building a crypt for it.
IceMan Collections
Started with some packing material I had lying around. Added pieces of styrene to replicate concrete blocks. Added filler in between. Adding a statue Thought about pillars but not sure if they go with the entrance.

Pim
That looks awesome. Never seen a hearse with wood sides. From my limited knowledge on hearses the wood effect is actually supposed to be vinyl Great work mate by the way
IceMan Collections
I did get a little work in for this one. The interior is pretty much done. Added some silver/chrome to the trim. Laid some nice glossy paint on the casket and finished the crypt. Here are some pics.

Shardik
I'm fascinated by hearses, and this one fully vindicates my obsession. You said this was a resin copy of the Johan, but not who cast it. Do you know? I'd like to get my hands on one since the originals are hard to come by at a decent price. By the way, the engine is looking very nice; "used but not abused".
