BOSWELL891
Picked this kit up a couple days ago since my brother has an xtreme, I'm going to build it in the style of his even though the grilles and a couple other things are different, it will be lowered with shaved tailgate and roll pan, I would like to put a pair of 05 corvette rims on it since he wants to put them on his but I don't have any. Here's his truck Edited June 25, 2012 by BOSWELL891

91blaze
Are you going to modify the grille? I think the grille on the real truck is much better than the kit grille. And do you have a stepside bed for it?
BOSWELL891
No I'm going to leave the kit as is for the most part, because I'm not building a exact replica I'm just building it in the style of my brothers truck
91blaze
That's too bad, it would look so much better as a stepside.
BOSWELL891
I agree it would but I don't have the skill to make it be a stepside
91blaze
You could use the bed from the 1996 S10 LS Sportside or the '97 F150. They are similar but the F150 bed would probably have to be narrowed.

BOSWELL891
Not a big update but got the body in primer just waiting for cooler weather before I do the rest of the paint and found a set of wheels and tires in my parts box that look really good and resemble my brothers wheels.
