Sixties Sam
Hey guys, I found this Dodge on eBay for about $5 a couple years ago. It was missing its interior and bumpers, but came with a dashboard from who knows what in the box. I decided to make a custom truck out of it. I used the dash and some parts box seats, console, steering wheel, and shifter to make a sort of interior. I lowered it by drilling holes for the metal axles about 1/4" higher than stock. The bed cover is Evergreen grooved sheet styrene intended for siding on model railroad buildings. I made a rear roll pan from one in my parts box. Paint is orange Valspar Allis-Chalmer tractor paint. BMF on the trim strip. Quick and dirty, not detailed, but a fun build! It needs a set of mirrors. Gotta check the parts boxes! Thanks for looking! jeffs396
Very nice Sam! Sometimes these "quickie" builds are the best slump buster
