PARTSMARTY
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE YOU CAN GET ZERO PAINTS IN THE U.S.? Edited May 29, 2013 by Harry P.
Scale-Master
I don't think they are available in the U.S. anymore. I think some guys are ordering from Spain.

sportandmiah
Back when Hiroboy shipped internationally, I checked out their prices, and was floored how much they charged for a couple ounces of paint. For paint and clear for 1 car shipped it came out to something like $29.99. There are better options here for the money, but rarely in model car sized amounts. The Creative Explorer
That is a bit biased, the paint you get from Zero comes in bottles you can easily do 2, 3 or even 4 cars out of. Clear is another ballgame, with one set of clear, I can do about 10-15 cars. One bottle is around 6 euro's and one set of clear is about 15 euro's, but not shipped. I think if you add 15 or 20 euro's to shipping, you are around 50 dollars approx, doing at least 4 cars with it, it comes to about 12,50 per car. Which I don't think is bad for quality paint. PowerPlant
Zero paints may not be totally cheap, true, but not only are they among the most user friendly, airbrush ready paints I have ever worked with, they are the only kind of modeling paints, color-matched to real automotive paint, that actually have metallic flakes in scale. At least from what I've been able to find in Europe...
dustym
I dont know about some of you, but I rarely paint 4-5 models the same color.
The Creative Explorer
True, but I rather have plenty for the same price as sufficient.
ZTony8
If you're doing a series of McLaren F-1 or Can Am cars or a bunch of Calsonic Nissans being able to do 4 to 5 cars with a single paint purchase is a good idea.

The price for the paint is very reasonable, even with the exchange rate, ithe issue is that its cost I think somewhere now close to $30 to ship one bottle to the USA from the UK. zenrat
You won't get it shipped from the UK to the US. The Royal Mail have, in their wisdom, decreed that they will not airmail flammable liquids. Use the spanish website listed above - the spanish post office are much more sensible.
Randall
I was thinking of doing one of my models in ZP Chrysler Tangerine Orange which I believe is a candy coat. I was wondering do I have to put down a metallic coat first?
