Jantrix
Gary get rid of those water colors. Get a few cans of Krylon at the local super store. There might be cheaper paints there, but Krylon has much better nozzles and it all works great over styrene. Head to Harbor Freight and get some tools. You can get knives, clippers, clamps, wet/dry sandpaper and such and not spend a great deal. Go to a beauty supply store and find some of the sanding sticks for ladies nails (in various grits) and you will have most everything you need to start building. jedimastergary
Just found this while doing research for a new build finally going to try and do something again. Saved up a bunch of electronics parts from cleaning up where I am staying and got a El Camino missing the hood, glass, interior tub, and axles but have idea for replacements for now. Also got the car I was working on cleaned up enough to work with now. I have some questions and was wondering if any one can help me 1) where do I look for post Apocalyptic motors any picture sites 2) when doing stowage do you fold a sleeping bag or use one layer? 3) what kind of junk is common stowage on these vehicles? also any other sites where they are building these kind of models? Any motor would be fine. Just make it look old & dirty. 2. Sleeping bags are usually rolled. 3. Imagine you are on a camping trip for the rest of your life. Whatever junk you would have during a camping trip applies. Plus extra water/fuel/weapons. Try this site. http://www.madmaxmodels.com/home2.html
Jantrix
Mods, you might want to consider locking this thread so we don't have people getting confuzzled by two Post-Apoc CBPs.
