Count me in on this with a '69 Dodge Charger. I won't be able to get around building it until after Christmas though

Got a little bit more done , still have work to do on the body to better get to look like a 73-74

well guys here are some pics (dont get too excited, really nothing to see but still)










as you can tell Alan's rims are coming in nicely
i sprayed a TON of allclad today...pretty much the entire interior tub looks like it is bare steel (its a tubbed rear end and the rear seat has been tore out), the rims and the injection system

i also did some small assembly to the engine and the chassis
oh, and some mudding to the front and rear panels to get rid of those terribles ALL cuda models seem to have

on a side note, dont you love those round taillights? we dont see enough of them


so, what would i be looking at for interior colours on a moulin rouge cuda ?

Thats sooo true you never see any '72+ models on here

white or black.... i think would be the best choices

oh i got the charger painted , the two chassis painted , the interior is almost done on the RR..

the paint got messed up on the RR. sooooo its in the pond..

I think all the body work is done on the charger to convert it to a 74, as soon as the primer is dry I will know, I think I still need to work on the side window a little more though.

Everything else is done on for the most part, will get a pic of body up soon

i stopped counting squared taillights at 50, i counted exactly 2 cudas with round taillights

Here is the charger body now that I have got side scoops filled in, its starting to look like a 74 now.


Here is another one I have for this CBP, just came today, been thinking about wanting to do a two door conversion on one of the new charger kits

heres a quick update guys, i laid some paint down yesterday and im not sure if i like it or not

the can was labeled "panter pink" and its a MM paint (usually very good)
but once i laid down a few coats and it started drying i thought it looks more like furious fuscia (the paint they used on the tribute models in '10)

judge for yourself








im waiting on some decals and a front bench and then i should be able to finish her up

interior and billboards will both be white, then i am thinking off adding some kit supplied decals (also in white) but not sure about that

yeah but how will it look with billboards on it ?












i painted the rear panel silver instead of black because i thought it would look better that way, closer match with the white billboards
i also did some more work on the engine, all it needs now is the belt setup and some fuel to it

What yellow did you use Davin?

Got the body painted on the charger, still working on the hood

And I started working on the charger super bee, I have decided that I am not going to try and convert this one to a two door, I am going to use the Revell uptown kit for that


The body is primed with white primer, I did some paint down on it, but I the shade of yellow I got is going to be way to light

its 1971 Y3 .. or citron yella. its a bit lime green an yellow mix.. it was used on the dirty mary crazy larry charger, that im also doing..

Edit- almost done with the hood, still have some work to do, still have some sanding marks needing to fill, and I need to still do the hood scope .

The burn notice charger is getting closer to being finished, I still have some small details to do, I need to make the hood scoop , then BMF

Got the charger super bee painted, its tamyia chrome yellow, not sure if I am going to do another coat, or just clear coat it
