Does not look like a 69 to me.

More like a 66. If it were a Custom (Base level, I would get one to do a Mayberry out of)

Dan is correct. Car is a 1966 model.  Note the flat square tail lights. Mom had a red one but an LTD

It's a Brazilian built Galaxie :lol:

They kept the old design for several years longer in Brazil, after they went to a new design in the US.

Well, I couldn't resist.

 

I took the Galaxie apart, and did a slight detailing on it.

 

I foiled the trim, gave the grille a black wash, painted whitewalls on the tires, painted the black details on the wheelcovers, and painted the interior red, as it was an option.
