Hey With my 1/12 Shelby waiting for suplies to finish it I thought Ill start an old build. My dad started this awile ago. It has tourqe thrust wheels and tires from a 32 ford. Heres how I found it. Im going to paint it marina blue with blue interior just like his 1:1 Uploaded with ImageShack.us The paint work on the chassis and other misc parts is so smoth and flat, It makes me want to improve my airbrush skills...LOL Thanks for looking

Looks good Im working on the same car. Anyone who has built this car notice that the rear wheels/tires rub on the lower control arms? Im thinking of making a 1/16 styrene spacer for them.. What color/brand did you use for the airfilter?

UPDATE Got my airbrush yesterday. Its a Iwata Smart Jet Pro compressor with a Iwata revolution BCR brush. worked great for the chassis of the car heres were Im at now First Pic Uploaded with ImageShack.us I havent used an airbrush but ive used automotive gravity feed guns os I kinda get the idea of it. I think the overspray turned out good. I painted the exhaust in a stainless steel then taped of the clamps and painted them aluminum...Its hard to see but it adds that extra detail. Second Pic Uploaded with ImageShack.us I used bare metal foil for the heat sheilds. Now just have to put the motor in and the front airdam Thats all for now Thanks for looking

So Im using my kids old baby bottles and I sprayed my krylon paint into it and it looks really thin..? will it get to the consistance of milk as it gasses out? First time doing this.

Hey all its been awile since Ive posted on here...Dont worry Ive been busy LOL First pic is of the painted body. Its just Krylon paint, about 4 or 5 coats. Its sanded with 1000 grit paper waiting to clear it until its not so hot and humid. Uploaded with ImageShack.us Second pic is of the complete interior. Its satin black with brush painted dash trim... Uploaded with ImageShack.us Third Is the wheels. I decromed them and painted them Gunmetal metalic then sprayed them with a light couat of gloss clear.
