  1. Hi I decided to try to build this kit oob, but I did some detailing. Mostly rivets , bolts , hoses, wires, and some other stuff. Modified the headlights protection shield, made a shield in the front too. The exhaust got a new support. Painted with Tamiya spraycan TS9. The bodypart is painted with an airbrush, a mix of Humbrol 3 and black then satin varnish. The leather straps works :-) A very old kit with lack of details but not so bad :-) Thomas
  2. Thank you very much ! I´m very glad you liked it :-) I saw Peters build and it was amazing ! I recall he did some modifactions on the engine and some other nice stuff too. Thomas
  3. Hi.I built this kit many years ago, I think the kit is great ! Plenty of room for detailing. If I built it today , I probably added much more stuff :-) Thomas
  4. Hi Now my Fiat is finished, thanks for your support along the way :-) Thomas
  5. Thanks cato! It´s soon finished, put it in a new thread then. Fixed my picture problem too :-)
  6. The kit is good! No major problems at all, some errors in the manual regarding painting, better follow your refs. The valve springs need to be replaced, looks toyish. The seat in the kit is wrong compared with the original one in the car today. I´m glad you like it :-) My problem just now is to get the pictures right :-(
  7. Don´t have that link ! but found another way, but the picture is huge ! Hate computers...
  8. Hmm, there is something I don´t get right, but there is no link called BBCode anywere ?!
  9. It´s the same as the links above, but still don´t know how to get the pictures directly into the thread..I hope someone can help me:-) Thomas

  11. Sorry I don´t know how to get the pictures direct in the thread :-(, hopefully somebody knows Thomas http://imgur.com/a/Dxzbd Testing..
  12. Hi. The engine and radiator is in place, the exhaust is nearly finished too. next will be the hood . I hope the pictures will work now. Thomas http://imgur.com/SPvP61n http://imgur.com/akp7pC2 http://imgur.com/iEzxmpP http://imgur.com/0v9yETv
  13. Not so much left to do before I will insall it in the car. I added plastic card on the watertanks ,painted with alclads copper and a little "soldering" with a chrome pen. Also scratched a support for the fuel lines. More later Thomas
  14. Hi More work on the engine, replaced the valve springs with steel thread, far from perfect but it will do. Installed a bunch of sparkplugs and the ignition cables. The fuel lines are also replaced with a little thinner one. Brass color is Alclad polished brass, works fine. Thomas
  15. Hi A little update. cooler is finished and I started with the engine More later Thomas
  16. Hi I´m trying to do the black version of the Mefistofele. Some modifications must be made, a higher rear bodywork, no airvent holes on the right side of the hood, two seats. There are very few pictures of the black car so a little "artistic freedom" must be used :-) Thomas
  17. Hi Skip The shift lever is scratched with a alurod and leftovers from the scrap box. And you are right regarding the parkingbrake ! As I said, a real sh*t model !! The manual said it should be between the seats, but when looking at my refs I can see it should be to the left of the seat, I wasn´t aware of this at all :-(
  18. Just a few interior pictures, the spinners came from an old bburago kit, locked nearly as the original.
  19. Hi Skip and thanks :-) The grille was awful! I used this tool on the picture, maybe it´s called a scriber ?! I gently cut off the star on the top and bottom, and also replaced the middle grill "wings" with plastic card. Also I used a saw to make the star cylinder shorter the I put mesh behind it, I hope you understand what I mean :-) Thomas
