Those photos of the Ontario plate ' Turbo 36 ' are nice high resolution images to work from Pat, and I was wondering if the Y-block turbo engine would have been part of the AMT kit, or is this an aftermarket addition ?
David
The engine is a flathead with finned aluminum heads and a home made turbo application. I was trying to find the car to copy the engine but the owner has passed on and I could not find the car.

I had purchased this kit with the intent of doing a coupe version of this lovely turbochrged coach. However, when I went looking for it to get detailed photos of the engine, I found out the owner had died and no one knew if the car was still in town. There was a Y block in a bag in the box, so I might do a mild rod with it or go alittle wilder with a FI V12.

Not sure what the original problem was, I think the cooling system was inadequate.
This one won't be working too hard on the shelf, the V800 should catch it.

Great looking Camaro and if I may ask what paint color did you use on the wheels. I'm working on this kit for the first time and trying to decide on a color for the 5 spoke wheels.
The rims and hubs are Tamyia X-11 Chrome silver andthe spokes are Model Master Metalizer Magnesium.

The interior is done. I took the liberty of woodgraining the dash. Also, I planted some solder sticks hoping to harvest headers.
