I don't have a car in this build, but have seen this 1958 Morris Oxford running around town twice this week in Mount Maunganui, New Zealand. This car has completed the 2013 Peking to Paris rally, the 2015 Trans America Challenge, and the 2016 Rally of the Incas. It ships out for China at the end of the month, hope to have a chat with the owner if I run into him. https://graveltravel.nz/home/
Could be an interesting looking model if done in green with aircraft markings. Given how these are now cheap and dying out here in NZ, it wouldn't surprise me to see one just like that around. Use the whole bonnet for a traditional Rising Sun motif, a couple of 'JDM Yo' stickers on the rear side windows, sand off 90% of the tread from the edges of the front tyres, and you're there. Fit to cruise Papamoa or West Auckland with a box of Codys.
