  2. this is a vintage monogram 1/24 scale kit i did replace the rims with a set from the amt snapfast 79/80 custom firebird and used a 82/83 firebird spoiler  which came from my parts boxes
the decals are also from the amt snapfast 79/80 custom firebird which came from my decal box
i converted the dash to right hand drive layout
i painted the body rust oleum 2x gloss white
i painted the interior and chassis rust oleum 2x flat black primer
i painted the rims rust oleum bright coat metallic aluminum
i used sharpie to colour the tail lights and the side reflector and front indicator lights
i painted the dash and steering wheel trim as well as the base layer for the rear indicator lights with a apple barrel metallic silver ultra fine tip acrylic paint pen
i used orange sharpie over the silver base to complete the rear indicator lights
i used a blue ultra fine tip sharpie to paint the pontiac lettering and the gta side logos and the small firebird emblem on the nose

I won't be clicking any links to ai content.

I'd rather support real artists and give them the clicks and the likes.

As for cover songs, I like them, but only if the artist doing the covering puts their own spin on the song. I've heard so many covers that are so close to the original, you might as well just listen to the original. For example, a band named Trivium did a cover of Metallica's Master of Puppets. They did an excellent job, but it's so close that I'll always just choose Metallica's version. On the flip side, the cover should at least be recognizable. Judas Priest and their version of Johnny B Goode comes to mind. It's so, so awful. Just...wow.

Some cover songs I particularly like:

    In Flames - Everything Counts

Health - Be Quiet and Drive

    Deftones - Drive

Placebo - Running Up That Hill

Filter - One (The Loneliest Number)

    Rammstein - Stripped

    In Flames - Wicked Game

Children of Bodom - Rebel Yell

Children of Bodom - Oops I Did It Again

    Orgy - Blue Monday

    Faith No More - Easy

i like ai covers cause there is no copyright issues on them so i do not have to worry about using those song covers in the backround of my videos over using the real version or a cover by a actual singer or group also most of those ai covers do not even have the same instrumentals as the originals or it has some that are close or similar sounding cause when one swaps genres the the original instrumentals do not always sound the same or even close
and i am not a fan of country music there are some songs i do not mind so when i can find a song in a genre i like or prefer listen
for me i also have issues with ai there are some places i feel it should never be used  like in cars and phones and by businesses or by hollywood  as all that is for profit but for stuff like this that transforms pieces of music from a genre one might not listen to any other way and as long as it is free and the creators do not try and profit off of it i feel it is ok cause they are having fun and doing something new
alot of cover artists that do songs in other genres won't do certain songs or if they do take requests they do it based how many likes a song suggestion  in the comments of thier previous song cover or they only take song sugestions from patrons  or membship subscribers that give them money i do not have anyway to do that so if the only way to get a song cover made you want is to ask a person who does ai song covers to do it and it costs nothing i don't see it as a option

  4. i find most covers of songs good but there are exceptions though for me mainly when it comes to beatles songs as i have only found a small group of  that are good mainly from one tribute band RAIN  and a few youtube cover artists  one is a group of brothers called reo brothers  another is two twin sisters the mona lisa twins  as they tend to try and play the song as they originally were  either both instrumental sound and vocal cadence and at original tempo or at least with two of those things the tempo and cadence being the same
but for any other song i have no issue with any of that it is just beatles songs and john lennon's solo songs since john is my favorite of the 4 members
i decide to start this  thread feel free to add your own
