Self-inflicted X-acto knife lacerations are definitely not the best part of the modeling hobby.

This is Candy. I named her that because she is so sweet. She is about 4 yrs. old. We got from a local shelter 5 months ago. The only history they could tell me is she had been at two other shelters before she arrived at theirs. She was skittish, had a skin condition and her tail tip was raw & bloody. Her scarred nose and missing teeth instantly endeared her to me. I knew she was coming home with me. With loving care (and our vet's help) she's all healed up, very relaxed, and living her new country life at her forever home! Consider adopting an older dog, it's very rewarding for not only the dog, but for you, too!
