Thanks to all the above! This is still a very buildable kit. The biggest issue that I found was that the body had some mold seams at the B post that took a bit of work. The only additions I made were the Cragars, shifter and the steering wheel. Break them out if you have one, if not, 40% it at the Lobby.

He's Number One in my book and hell and gone from Connecticut. Besides, I pretty much cleaned him out.

I'm a bit, okay, completely gobsmacked and still need to change my shorts. I drop that I build models to a guy who says "You should come see my garage". $327 (that I totally should not have spent) later, I'm in a loaded car on my way home. He was on his I-phone the whole time looking up prices "That ones up to $190, give me $20 for it". A lot of them were $5. Unbelievable. There are some serious holy grails in these piles for me. This could be the pinnacle score of my model building history. 33 kits @ an average of $9.90, nine dollars and ninety cents each.

I saw a photo somewhere of Bruce Larson's '74, perhaps to be a 2020 release? Because, to have both would just be too good. I pre-ordered in April, does September finally look like the release date for the Jenkins car?

Thanks, guys. Wiring was so tempting on this one in particular, but I've paid my "keys in the ignition" dues and just let it be a fun build. It wouldn't be hard to still do it. Throttle linkage, too. And fuel lines. Oh yeah, that's why I didn't do plug wires.

MPC's recent Prudhomme release with a Revell Gene Snow Funny Car motor.

Very nice, indeed. Did you have to deal with hood fit issues?

It's got a cop motor, cop suspension, cop brakes . . . The carb trumpets are from pen barrels. The tail piece is balsa, sanded to shape. The clip on bars were scratched and I'm still figuring out making a 4 into 1 exhaust from the kit 2 into 2. The second photo is of " stay at home" WIPs 2, 3 and 4

This has got to be the easiest conversion I've ever done, swapping everything under the Foose F-100 onto the Moebius chassis. I'll offer one tip. The windshield fit is super tight and the chrome trim is molded with it. Wait until it's in place and do the garnish with Bare Metal Foil unless you're really steady with a Molotow Pen

Grumpy Jenkins' 1972 Vega P/S .
If this were the only kit that Round2 releases for MMXX , then I'm okay with that !

That MPC 1988 Mustang GT was last cosmetically-updated for the 1987 model year . Under that so-so reskin , it's the same old Mustang Fox Body kit that dates-back to c.1979 . It's not terrible ; it's just not stellar . I just hope that those totally incorrect B.F. Goodrich Radial T/A tyres are still included ( not ! ) .

I have the Ranchero kit in its last iteration . I may have to get another one now... Chevy Mark IV engine notwithstanding ( haha ) .

LOL. Oh well, there's hope for uncle Dudley's dead base Mercury Monarch 4 door, and his wife's B210 Honeybee.
Just beyond words. Hope everyone complaining wanting new issues buys these. I'll stick with reissues.
My High School Girlfriend's Mom had a B-210 automatic. That thing would not turn the tires over on the gravel road I lived on.

The real C8 hasn't even hit the streets yet, and didn't it take at least a year before we saw kits of the current Ford GT?
yes, but the Vette has been burned twice by the toy and model companies. AMT released early with the '63, the car mags used photos of the model. In '69, it was HotWheels that showed the new car before Chevy did

They also did the highly successful Barnabas Vampire Van, the non existing prototype of which never appeared in Dark Shadows.
But the '32 Chevy van kit had to die for that rubbish. Was that the Denny Hulme Horsehide Hauler?

Might be the lack of humidity here in the southwest. Really hard on the slicks from the Revell large scale dragsters, too

Since nobody asked, let me throw in that the full bumper front end weighs about 200 pounds less than the split

Guys.....the AMT Piranha kit has a great first gen/392 Hemi ….. that would be even better if built with the rubber blower drive belt and pulleys from the AMT "Checkered Flag" tool Garlits kit.. TIM
I've never had a kit with a rubber belt that didn't fail eventually. I replace the belts with a few thicknesses of electrical tape

I like it!

Kind of a barn find. This has been in a box for a few decades. What's left of a build from 1988.
