You might consider looking for a rough Ambassador promo or friction. They are generally more common and cheaper than the Rebel kits, and all of those parts should fit with minor adjusting at most.

Jim, if you do find a replacement body, I could use your warped one to repair the rear wheel wells on one that I have, the previous owner chopped them out for slicks.

Nice job curving and contouring the tops of those 1/4 panels. Without adding that bit of Coke Bottle, they would have seemed droopy.

After going through the demo derby like that, I was expecting to see a wreck. That ain't no wreck, it's pretty mint, and just in time for the great Pro Street renaissance. Great build, great stance, and it nails The Look.

Do they have to be AMT? I have a set from an MPC, they are similar but not the same.

I like absolutely everything about this car. It just nails the '70s look that I grew up with to perfection, only it's a bit nicer than the cars rolling around back then.

Very nice! I have wanted to build one of these for a long time as well, I have numerous Monogram Fox engines and a Tamiya curbside kit, so a bit of surgery is in order.

This is as precisely rendered and built as any '64 Impala of any manufacturer as I've ever seen. Amazing work on the fine details.

A few days ago, I got a package in from Tokyo, a 1:43 scale diecast '60 Falcon made in Japan by Taiseiyako, also known as Taiseiya, in the Cherryca Phenix line. These came in green and blue, are very rare, and I've wanted one since the '80s when I saw one listed in an antique toy value guide. Diecast was still fairly new to Japan in the early '60s, so these are sort of primitive in some areas, but they are loaded with charm. Pictured next to a Trax Australian Falcon in the same scale, you can see how far diecast manufacturing has come in the last 50+ years.

I always wanted a full scale replica to drive around in. The base Lincoln MK III is still pretty easy to get, the rest is up to your 1:1 model building skills.

Amazing conversion, and a super clean build. Great looking car, too.

Tamiya is synthetic lacquer, use denatured alcohol to strip it. Super Clean and oven cleaner generally don't work well on it.
