Started this kit a while back, and finally have a little progress to post. I felt like the truck sits too high out of the box so I wanted to lower it. I modified the spindles to drop it about 2 scale inches, and cut a coil out of the springs on the trailing arms. Last night I assembled the chsssis, and this morning I mocked it up to see if I'd gotten the results I wanted. It sits just about how I had envisioned, but I'm still not sure on tire choices.

This is Fujimi's Supra from the Togue series. Its a curbside, and it has the worst chassis I've ever seen on a curbside. It looks worse than most toys, so I didn't even take a picture of it. This kit was issued in a few different forms, and you get a lot of optional extra pieces, such as mirrors, steering wheel, sunroofs, Recaro seats, roll cage and the option of lights up or down. I put the cage in, but removed it. It's positioned too far forward, and you cant fix it without removing the rear seats and fabbing the whole rear of the interior without the seats. The instructions don't tell you how to lower the car, but the parts are there. (similar to the late 80's AMT kits where you swapped sides with the struts, or shimmed them.) I had to clearance the inner fenders, though. This is also my first go at using aluminum tube for the exhaust. the kit came with aluminum exhaust tips, but it was rolled tube with a seam, and you had to cut them, and they looked kinda crappy.

Not much to show yet, but I just started today on my '60 Chevrolet pickup. My first order of business to narrow up my AMT Parts Pack '60 Mercury grille to fit the width of the pickup's opening, and to clearance the opening so the grille will nestle back into it. I removed six grille bars per side, and you can see the grille opening modified on one side. When it goes back together, the inner headlights should hide the seams. -
Good afternoon Guys, Happy new Year! With the rain here in Vancouver (what a surprise!), I decided to start my new kit than I got, Chevy 39 Coupe. I lowered a little bit the back suspension, open trunk and hinges, body has been primed with PlastiKote Sandable primer. I will use One Coat lacquer from Testors,but I do not know which color yet! any idea? the base coat, I am hesitating between gold,silver or even copper! interior I do not know yet as well. here are some pics thank you for watching.
