Mid-Seventies issue, the French on the face of the box wasn't used until then.

I see that now and was not aware of that, thanks for the info.

Not positive, but AMT may still have been printing date codes on the back side of the decal sheets then.

Looks like it, maybe the decal sheets were printed way in advance.  Not that it matters much, most issues of this kit probably won't differ too much value-wise.  A couple of later ones don't have all of the parts that one has, so are worth a lot less.  And the earliest issue or two would be worth more.

You said you might like a Land yacht, I have a round two AMT 70 Impala, The box is ugly but I believe the models is complete except the decals.
