Dave Ambrose Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 We were treated to an unauthorized deluge of spam posts this morning. The posts have been dealt with as have the accounts that created them. We've put some deterrents in place and they seem to be working. If this happens again, please don't hesitate to report the post(s). We have automatic moderation enabled that will hide posts with too many reports. If a post looks suspicious or out of place, do not click on any of their links!!! Ever. The editing limit was put into place, and will remain for a while. I realize this inconveniences a few people, but it's a better alternative than having a bunch of malware posts on the forum. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to PM me. Ace-Garageguy Posted February 10, 2023 Posted February 10, 2023 IIRC, this is the second time the site was spammed by dozens of posts for airline calling numbers. Last time, I reported the onslaught within a few minutes.
