Suggestion for anyone planning a model contest with vendors

 While attending the Buckeye Classic NNL there was a young gentleman with his father who assisted a vendor with his merchandise.  My suggestion would be for the promoters of an event to team up with the local boy scouts and for a nominal few assist vendors if they wish with there wares during set up and breakdown. This would be a fund raising event for the scouts and aid the elderly vendors whom seem to make up the majority of them.

I attended that show today as well as a vendor/customer, but  not being an older individual, I still understand what you are saying. While all members seamed busy doing something for the show today, I do remember them helping  anyone who accepted the offer in previous years. 

Truth is, they are also getting older. But your suggestion is a very good idea!
