Do any of you guys convert a Matchbox diecast to a slot car?

Converted the Matchbox Jaguar XK-150 to slot using a Tyco Magnum 440 Chassis and the 59 Dodge Police car with an Autoworld 4 gear chassis.Despite the weight of the metal bodies,they both are very fast!

I have read discussions on slot car forums where guys are converting 1:43 and maybe 1:32 scale diecast models to slot cars.

I did a few 1/32 scale model kits, and converted them to slots. 

 

Diecast should work great on those smaller AFX-style chassis.
