krishna.iskandana Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 Well, this is my last completed model that I painted with Tamiya TS-50 Mica Blue , you've seen all the others ( the 911 GT2, 635 CSi , Karmann , and The SIlvia ) This is An Alpine Renault A110 from tamiya , I used the wheels from 1967 toyota 2000GT, Let me know what you think and Thanks for looking. Cheers Krishna Iskandana Perth, WA
Bernard Kron Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 Gorgeous. One of my all-time favorite cars, and the Mica Blue creates a sort of idealized version of it. I like the choice of wheels, too. The styling of the A110 is so successful that these "un-authentic" details only serve to enhance its special beauty. Very nice photography, too. It really sets off this excellent, sanitary build.
Foxer Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 That car has great lines and that's a great, clean build! I too like those wheels on it ... not knowing any better, they look made for it.
Dingo Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 Krishna, that's one nice Alpine luv the blue sets it off real good & U've done good in getting the bummper lights at the right angle especially for the couple of cars that where used here in Australia it's funny how they hung like that U'd think they would've gotten cleaned up by all the bouncing around when the car hit the ground after yumping over a hump. Well done on a great model . Dingo
randx0 Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 Nice call on those wheels .I also think this is a neat looking car and you did a great job with it.
62rebel Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 mine is lingering about a quarter built among the dozens like her.... picked up a bunch of import/sports cars on clearance last spring and fiddle a bit with each one in turn when i get builder's block on custom projects. love the lines of the alpine. yours is definitely sharp! an inspiration!
