Some of you may have seen this one as I had posted it before on another forum, but for those of you that havent..........

This was my favorite pro stocker back in the day, as kids we used to sneak into Detroit Dragway on match race nights and watch the pro stockers run, Seems Nicholsons Maverick always won! When I saw that Slixx offered decals I just had to do one.

I bit the bullet and paid big bucks ($50.....ouch!) on ebay for a JoHan Maverick kit Added the engine bay from a Monogram Mustang, and Wrinkle slicks from SMBC. The paint is plasticote chevy orange ("chevy" orange?...blasphamy!) and decals are slixx.

Thyanks for looking,

Raisin

That old JoHan really looks super. I saw a kit on the 'bay sell for $120.+ yesterday. SO you got a bargain

Where did you get the gauge on the cowl grill and tach from ?

This one was of my favorite cars from that era.
