'64 Chevelle Malibu

I started this thread back in September, but somehow blew it off. So I'm going to try and post some photos of the 1:1 car and the model during it's build.

I built this at the request of a friend who wanted to give it to his oldest daughter this past Christmas. A few years ago. she spent two years working on the 1:1 with here Dad. So he wanted to have a model of the car. She'll probably get the 1:1 in the end.

I have had problems with trying to download photos from Photbucket, and I'm sure that it is user error as I hadn't had any problems in the past. So hopefully I can get a few loaded from out of my files.

If anyone knows and has any suggestions as to the above problem. Please let me know, as I would like to get back to contributing to this forum

Model looks good. My second car was a baby blue 64 Malibu but not an SS.

Charlie, the garage diorama is scratchbuild and is in the "Diorama" section under, "Backyard Garage". The diorama for this '64 Malibu is also in that section under "'64 Chevelle Malibu SS - "The Perfect Day".

Nice pictures, I love this build. I had a '65 Chevelle SS when I was 16 years old in 1966 I bought with paper route money I saved starting at 12 years old. Too much car for a 16 year old probably.
