Nick Winter Posted March 30, 2013 Share Posted March 30, 2013 Bought it off a friend in Febuary, been tinkering ever since, '68 Cab, '71 Bumpers and part of the bed, '72 Bed, resin '69 Grille, '70 Chevelle Magnum 500's. Started out looking like this, the red bed is the '71 bed Then I mocked it up Then I had a change of plans. Bodywork. Added trim, 70 Style Painted it and Decaled, and cleared. More to come. Nick Winter Posted March 30, 2013 Author Share Posted March 30, 2013 Interior was pretty decent so I just did the dash, added a shifter and cleaned up the seats, I touched up the brown and painted the center seat/arm rest. Also polished the truck out and foiled it. Nick Cool project! I realy like those body lines! For future reference, if you decide to shorten the bed, you have to chop a bit out of the bed behind the wheel openings too.
