biscayne63 Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Some repairs being done to our Kenworth T680, after it was damaged in shipping.
kilrathy10 Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 This thing is just too cool....I really do like this body style.....Great work....Beautiful....
BigBad Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Yeah, that is super cool but what's it supposed to be? is it a Kenworth mock up for aerodynamics testing, a sophisticated R/C or...
biscayne63 Posted July 20, 2013 Author Posted July 20, 2013 It's a model that was in the Kenworth show trailer that went to dealerships for the debut of the T680 last year. We have a T880 model doing the same lap of the US.
biscayne63 Posted July 20, 2013 Author Posted July 20, 2013 It's made from a renshape like material, just a professional grade.
biscayne63 Posted July 20, 2013 Author Posted July 20, 2013 Renshape is a urethane foam, used for machining patterns or molds.
highway Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Cool build. What's Renshape? I forget what issue it was in (help me out Tim), but Tim had an article in the magazine where he showed using Renshape to make the front of his Pete 587. I did get the right model number, didn't I Tim??
mackinac359 Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 Yes, Renshape style board. They have a dozen types/styles of the material. Noo, not 387, 579.. Tim
