The S/S wheels looks right at home on it, and that black! S-H-I-N-Y! I'm very impressed with the look of that wet-look clear. While I'll agree that the car from the factory wouldn't have had so deep a look to the finish, a well-maintained car with good polish/compound/wax practices would still look very good. That would also do a nice job of replicating a car with a fresh resto using modern paint.

What make of pen is that that you use, Al? I might give that a try for W/Ws and W/WWs and the occasional RWL/OWL tire I find myself in need of doing.

Charlie I got the paint pen seen below at Michaels. They work good on tires, and dries quickly with no stickiness like other paint do. Thank everyone again for your nice comments.

Looks great! Nice paint! Since you mention it, I don't recall ever seeing many of these in black either. For my kit, I'm waiting to hopefully find the 4 door hardtop resin that somebody did a while back.

It is w white gel pen doesn't matter what brand. It has to be a white gel pen, gettin a circle template will make things easier to add a "whitewall" and you can go over that outline for more depthness
