I have restored a few vintage Hubley model A's and just wodered if anyone else here has any interest in them? these were some of the first kits I build as a boy,and enjoyed them even back then!......................Mark

Good looking models.

I have built at least one of every diecast Hubley except the Indy car. I have one of of those started. Then I got into customizing them and that was even more fun.

I thought some of them were on here but just did a search and nothing came up. When Fotki clears up I'll post some.

There were a few on ebay... I thought about it... but didnt want to go down that road. I dont do die cast... didnt wanna start that addiction.

me too-Built all of them as a teenager- I still have some left-people complain about the filing of the castings, but its not that bad. I hand painted the moldings on the roadster when I was 13....

Those all look neat, brings back memories. My dad loved Hubley kits, and had all thier metal kits and multiple of the Model A's. He had a couple of 1-1 A's in the early 60's thru the 70's. I have all of his kits in addition to mine but have yet to build any. I loved the box art on the original issues of the A kits too.
