Here's the start of my garage. I'm going to enlarge it a little. And I'm saving some $ to make it worth the trip to Ann Arbor (Riders Hobby) for the sheeting for the walls.

Made some more progress on my garage. Got the siding done, now to get the trim around the doors and the "concrete" outside.

Close, it's plastruct. 6 sheets of 3/16 clapboard for outside, 6 sheets of plain inside and 3/16 angle for the corners and door trim.

Do you plan to include a man door and/or windows somewhere?

What did you use for the asphalt? Waterproof sandpaper?

You might consider giving it a very watery light gray acrylic craft paint wash, using a wide brush and allowing the paint strokes to show a line of travel for the vehicles. If you do, experiment first on some spare sandpaper to get the feel of what I mean. It's difficult to describe in words so you really need to experiment first.

You're doing a great job so far....... this is just a suggestion.

It's just black posterboard I found at Walgreens.

With the cleanliness of the whole building it looks like a newly built shop with fresh asphalt.

James, in all seriousness, you need to beat the floor up some . Even a shall we say sanitary shop with that type of tile has some wear on it .......... Ed Shaver

Workin on it Ed, I'm workin on it. Once I get all the equipment done and placed I can figure out where the "weathering" should be.

James, This looks GREAT!!!! You are going in the right direction with this.

I have one question. How or what did you use for the black and white floor???

I have been looking for this in scale and can't find anything close.

Thanks and keep at it.I will be following this one.
