Since the Nova is Finished, I decided to start new project. Super Pro Street is car category, which is new here in Finland. Cars must have doors, but otherwise there are no big limits, but cars can be no faster than 6,8 seconds. Interesting, I would say.

I've had '57 Chevy Pro Sportsman body for a while, and inspired by Tyrone's '57 Chevy ProMod, I started to build tube frame for it. I'm not sure about the engine yet, but maybe somekind of Pro Motor with TunnelRam intake... Let's see. Anyway, the basis for the frame is built from pieces of parts trees...

Hope to have more soon, but this will be long project. So don't hold your breath. ;)

I'm looking forward to seeing your handiwork on this one Niko. With your skills improving with each build, I'm anticipating this one to be really cool.

Thanks Guys!

I'm searching parts now, I have the wheels and tires (well wheels are same Centerlines that Falcon has, I need to cast them). Engine is a big question yet, but needs to look spare parts if I could find anything. Rear axle might be problem too. Whole front suspension system can be scratchbuilt, if I have to, but I would like to find some parts there also. I post more pictures when I have something bigger to show you.

Little more done with the Chevy. Progress is bit slow since this is my first try of making tube frame from plastic. I also finished that Kenworth Truck ( in Trucks Section) but now I'm back on this one. More work with the frame, and it's starting to look like car's frame a bit. More tubing is added and still few more needed, untill I can start the rear end of this frame. It's great to have as many Drag builders as we have here. Reference for tube frame is easy to find from other WIP topics.

Also found the engine and rear axle. I'm not sure where they are from but I guess that they are from Monogram's STP Pontiac Pro Stocker.

Thanks, Richard, Kane and Billy :) !

Not a big update, but few tubes are added again. On the last update, I made those tubings to the sides of that frame, and now I made "X - Members" there. Not the easiest thing to do, but turned out OK. Next step is building the rear frame, that will be maybe the hardest thing in the whole frame I guess.

Thanks, Richard and Bill!

So far I've been working without any drawings, but next I have to make drawings so I can continue building the frame. Also Tim Flock Chrysler arrived yesterday, that's slowing me down with this one too.
