  1. Here's an old AJ Foyt Indy Winner from 1964. I had to paint the pearl red and blue scalops because the decals didn't work out.(1/43 scale)
  2. Very nice job! Difficult car to pull off. What did you use for the chrome mylar body panels?
  3. Thanks for the compliments. I really like Tameo they offer a lot of detail and accuracy for the money. And another nice perk is they include two decal sheets with their kits and they have outstanding customer service.
  4. Alan, Thanks I think they are from Hoppin Hydros but not 100% sure. I know they were all chrome so I just painted the centers black and then removed the paint from the lugs and wheel tie bolts.
  5. Here's an IMSA GTO class Corvette that raced at the Daytona 24 in 1984. I couldn't find any documentation during the build so here is what i came up with.
  6. Stephen, It's a 1/43 resin kit made by Starter. Its a very simple kit.
  7. I thought this would be cool to build. It was a quick and fun.

    69 Sleeper Dart

I also like the sleeper look. Great work.
  9. Mike, I sprayed the body with Tamiya TS50 out of the can then dusted TS 51 over the top to darken it a little. Sounds goofy but it actually worked. You also can order the correct blue from Zero paints. I think the actual GM color is Xenon Blue or 50th anversary Lemans blue. Thanks for looking at the cars.
  10. Here are a couple of Corvette C5R the silver one is the old Revell Profinish and the blue one is the 2012 release from the 2003 Lemans 24 hr. race. I touched up the paint, added decals and re-cleared the silver one. The blue one didn't come with any Goodyear markings so I added those.
  11. I think Rick Hendrick shared this truck with Jack Sprague at least once during the 1995 Craftsman truck series. This is the only truck I built from those early Monogram releases. I think the decals were from BSR/Racescale.
  12. This is a 1/43 scale resin kit.Lots of extra bits were added to the engine and interior.
  13. One of my favorite cars and drivers. Great job! really takes you back when NASCAR was special.
  14. Really nice, very clean and very well done.
  15. Thank You for all the kind words. This was my first attempt at this type of build. I really appreciate the compliments.
  16. Thanks for looking. They are made by Tameo they are made of white metal, photoetch and some aluminum. They list over 200 kits in their catalog.
  17. Here's where I do all my procrastinating/model building.
  18. Here's a few 1/43 F1 cars I have built. I really like this scale forr its variety of subjects. The cars in order are Lotus 107,Lotus 79 and Brabham BT53.
  19. Well I have been admiring the oustanding work on this site for quite sometime so I finally got enough courage to post a few pic's of this 1969 Super Bee I built a few years ago. Hope everyone Has a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year.
