  2. I have a question for you guys , I have resin 1693TA Cat engine kit would this be correct for this kit , or should I use the Cat engine from the snap Peterbilt or Kenworth kits ? Thank you.

  4. Thanks Brian and Ben for the kind words . The cab is pretty much done other than a little filling and sanding .
  5. Just a couple of updates . Thank you Sean , I hope it will help others out. I got the dash trimmed down ,I ended up cutting the dash off the fire wall it made it a lot easier to fit the dash . I also cut down the head liner and the floor .

  7. Thank you Terry Yes I read that article it is very inspirational . The one in Scale Auto is also very good too . I used a little from of both articles doing this project.

  10. Thanks every body for the comments . I got the roof and the new day cab panel cut down tonight ,just a little bit more sanding to do to get every thing fitting a little better .
  11. Thank you Dennis for the comment . Well I did it I got the cab all cut and put back together , it looks much better with the straighter sides .

  13. Thanks Brian for explaining that. I never really gave it any thought about the cab until i read the articles . It does look better after being trimmed down. Hopefully I can do it without screwing it all up.
  14. Some updates , I filled in the cut outs on the front fenders and added some under hood detail. I also took the big jump and started cutting up the cab, hopefully every thing will fit right .
  15. I picked up the new Italeri Peterbilt 378-119 Classic and Moebius Models 1971 Ford Ranger kits today .

  18. It's been a while sense I've worked on anything , so I thought I would start on the American Superliner . I started with cutting the frame to shorten it , I'm going to use Mack rear suspension from AITM , wheels from Kit Form Service, and scratch built cross memebers Thanks for looking
