It’s done. My first truck build. It was really fun and I learned a lot more about big rig kits than I anticipated. Hope everyone enjoys!

Those are great suggestions! Your builds are awesome! I never thought about that flatbed, but it looks really good with that Peterbilt. Mmmm, so many choices!!!

I bought this diecast Lamborghini kit from Hobby Lobby for my son. It’s one of Maisto’s AssemblyLine kits that have only 33 parts. He’s 12 years old and this is his first kit that he put together himself. He was so proud, and so was I!

Grabbed this up a few days ago at Hobby Lobby. Hopefully can start it soon!

Ive been looking but can’t really decide. I know I want something a little more modern in tooling and that will look good with the truck. Any suggestions?

Here’s my Revell Kenworth W900 Aerodyne. It’s a basic build—out of the box. These kits go together very well and are great for a quick build. Forgot the grab bars on the stacks, but I’ll install them later. Enjoy the pics!

Thanks guys! Just adding a few finishing touches. The last thing I did was make some new mud flaps from styrene.

That engine is looking amazing! Great job on the details! Can’t wait to see this completed! I feel for your eye condition. I have an eye disease that bothers my modeling too so I know what you mean.

It was!! I find this forum to be extremely helpful. Looking at all these great builds helps me to be more observant as I travel up and down I-95 checking out big rigs. I saw a Kenworth K100 Aerodyne still hauling goods, going south yesterday. I would have missed it if I wasn’t on the lookout.

I’ve never noticed that extra webbing. I better make sure to remove it from my build as well. Everything is looking good on your project! Keep it up!
