Completed track mods to single grouser. Cab handrails and platforms with handrails at the front of the dozer have been completed. The rails are fabricated from 1/16” brass rod with all connection points soldered. Final fitting of these parts will be later in the project. Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki

Thanks everyone for the encouragement and kind words. I ordered tires and wheels from AITM and they should be here tomorrow. Getting the rears installed will provide me with how much frame space (sides of the frame) I have to work with.

I wanted to do something different with my DM600, so I decided on this project. It's a fill-in project to give me a break from my D11 build. This is what’s been done so far: Frame lengthened by 80 scale inches… Hosted on Fotki Camelback suspension… Hosted on Fotki Engine almost done… Hosted on Fotki The roll-off frame will have a single reeving cylinder similar to this… Hosted on Fotki
