and it gos on modern versions are now ....one thing is true they are getting better in ripping off stuff (sadly) and whell why not get "inspiration" from everywhere (doh) even the smart ...lol oh and you guys worry'd about the ford this thread was about ... just check they violated a real piece of american heritage >> but not only cars get ripped by the chinese , watches and just about everything you can think of they copy .. but the italian vespa did something about it >> read http://www.drive.com.au/bike-news/vespas-crackdown-on-chinese-copies-20131114-2xhvf.html

thnx guys .. did some wheel arch work a few minutes ago .. used these boxy shaped edges cut out of a ford pick up ... fit perfect and syle wise fit better , the other ones made it look like a range rover .. these are cool you can also see the depth in the headlights and the depth in the foglights i made in the bumper , took a while to get the shape and edge right .. needs more cleaning later to really make it smooth works well , the arches really create depth in the side also got a edge o the indide of the well , wehn i have done the rear i need to really clean it up

thnx bob and no not really been thinking about that , i still have so much to fabricate .. tip of the iceberg maybe i will use these actualy of a cobra front bumper is glued under , and loosly put a wing against it , off course that will need shaping and if i put them on make them one with the body btw it kinda has got the range rover vibe now lol put the last bondo on the fb and around the headlights .. tomorrow i can really sand them flat and in shape .. the corners of the bumper will run through around the corner later with styrene ...

thats cool , looking sharp

thnx carl closed it on top of the grille , still very rough and made plates behind the headlights , in between those i can place a radiator . then drilles a hole for the bonnet catcher and glued a pin under the bonnet now it stays in place then put a lot of work in the tips of the side wings where the corners of the hood meet teh tips of the wings .. that didnt meet up nice and i put styrene on the wings and sanded it in shape whole car untill now , front ofg the bumper is in rough bondo for the second time now next think of clean inner wings and make something nice as a firewall

thnx guys and i didnt know that andy .. i do like the green truck .. and the idea it has got a flathead is really cool i also like the old ford v8 grille bar with lights .. but in a way i think it does not fot the boxy design .. i put in a grille bar like that on my model and it just wasnt the look i wanted

whouw awsome kit !! -
did some more work on the front opened up the headlight squares again and drilles oversized holes and glued on some altered lego things the idea is to make it look like those modern projector lights konda looks mean now and with the open square it gives a nice depth ... smooth rear end .. taillight will be made in the rear section frenched in .. and i just found 2 perfect lenses that fit perfect in the lego things put the front bumper more inwards looks better and maybe later make a low roofrack and put the surfboard on painted in the cars colors

i hated the front end i wanted more depth so thios morning i ripped it apart next stuff is real rough work .. put the grille in deeper , more depth and a angry look ... reshaped the tops of the side wings all needs more work and shaping glued this bumper on the smooth bumper i had so now i have 3 bumpers glued together lol .. the middle had a pint i sawed that of.. i want to create the shape of the hood front and grille using old window blind plastic (hard) i made plates to glue on the back and top of the bumper after a first file and sand job loosly under the front , glued a piece of styrene in the front middle section the whole front of the bumper is now bondo-ed (not in the pic) so when thats dry i can sand the shape into it

thnx guys and ken i did realise my bronco looked different from the examples i posted like you can see they are not the same and even the glass in the hardtop runs up higher .. i could not really find the right bronco .. but also didnt care much i just use stuff as inspiration ... and i'm def. not remaking the ones i posted as a example ... but thnx fr the info !! i didnt know my version was more like the f150 chassis and no i never take stuff as a bashing lol you can say anything and david ooh yes i saw them a while back ... yes those are some awsome wheels indeed !!
